Front Opening Country Victorian Dollhouse by Real Good Toys
My mother spent several years building and decorating this dollhouse. Her intention was Victorian style, but let’s just say historical accuracy wasn’t always at the forefront of her mind. If you look closely, you’ll spot little “modern” intrusions — a box of SOS pads sitting in the kitchen, or a vanity coffee mug in the bedroom with my dad’s name on it.
Those details make me laugh now, but if you know me, you know that kind of anachronism is one of my biggest pet peeves. Still, it’s part of the story of this house — a mix of genuine effort, a little chaos, and a lot of my mom’s personality.
