Supplies:

Cut a small rectangle piece of the netting about 2 inches tall. Dry fit in the cap, it should overlap just a tiny bit and then cut. Paint the cap and set aside to dry.

Gather one end of the netting together and wrap the string/wire/thread around the end, tie off and add a bit of glue to secure. Add a little glue to the netting where it overlaps to help secure it. Allow to dry.

Add a drop of glue to the cap and place the bird in the center. Add glue to the ends of the netting and place inside the cap, around the bird and allow to dry.
